Meet Mrs. Giambattista,
“This is my fourth year at Our Savior Lutheran School and I love being part of such a great ohana!
This will be my eighth year teaching, but my sixth year in kindergarten. Previously, I have taught fifth grade, secondary English, and have additional experience working in Special Education. I hold a Bachelors in Journalism and a Masters in Education with Distinction Honors.
I was born, raised, and educated in New York. In addition to teaching, I have been a personal trainer for 13 years and am known for providing a lot of movement in my lessons because of this! Children learn best when they are directly involved in the process.
I am a lover of literacy and enjoy teaching children to read and write. They are the building blocks of everything, which is why kindergarten is such a special time.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, writing, reading, sleeping, and designing for my teacher store.
My first children’s book will also be published around the beginning of 2025.
I am looking forward to a wonderful school year! “
